Ah, right, my profile does mention my military experience but that's about it. My military upbringing is because of that base.

I'm a Federal Galactic Army Special Forces solider. My whole rank and all is a bit of a mouthful so I don't necessarily pull it out unless it's needed. "Lietuenant Setsu of the Federal Army 928th Division Class B Defense Force." ...See? Mouthful. [ there's a light wave of amusement. ]
