...I haven't yet either. [ so that makes two of them. ] I've been thinking it over who to tell. I thought about Vash, since he's a bit familiar with interstellar travels and all.
[ they put their phone away, moving to actually comfortably lean against him now. ] But I've also thought of telling Luo Wenzhou.
Vash kind of seems scattered but trustworthy. He cares about people enough. [ an assessment. he lets them lean even if he keeps his phone out, but he shifts so they are both more comfy. ] And Luo Wenzhou's...practical. Like the kind of person who wouldn't think much of it other than following a rule to begin with.
So...they're not bad ideas. Could even do both to make sure if you felt like it.
That's the kind of feeling I get from him as well.
[ they nod a little to agree, though today has been... a bit emotionally overwhelming? different from yesterday, though a bit similar. when he shifts so they're more comfortable, they rest their head lightly on his shoulder with a lower of their gaze. ]
...I could. [ they still seem to be thinking about it, carefully removing the "silver key" from their pocket to look at it. ] I've just been thinking the fewer people that know, probably the better.
[ ... and a bit more quietly ] Though, they'd probably forget about it in the end.
[ he thinks about this for a moment, remembering everything they've told him about the silver key and eyeballing it when they pull it from their pocket. ]
...you think those rules would still apply here? We're not exactly on the same plane as we were when we were alive and in our own worlds.
[ the silver key remains in the same state it was before... prettily encased in its transparent cube. ]
...It applies to parallel universes and alternate times, so I.. [ it seemed like the right assumption. though, if that's the case, it also means... they close their eyes for a moment. if they think about that now, it'll only hurt more later. ...they emit a sigh, they glance up to him with a hesitant smile. ]
You could be right. It being a different plane might make things different.
It could. Plus, we're dead. You said it isn't even really working right now, didn't you? Maybe because of that it would turn out different to what you're used to. [ a soft shrug, but he's looking at them carefully. ]
...Kazuki mentioned that you'll get cursed. I.. didn't think to ask how he knew that. Maybe he talked to one of the Reapers? [ sometimes you get distracted. weird. ] So, be sure to do it before the week ends, okay?
Do you think they'd really just explain something like that if people are supposed to be doing these things? [ now he just has concerns? what the hell does cursed mean here. ]
I haven't asked them yet... but, we do have that team Psych that relates to curses, right? [ pass curses to another whether it involves yourself or not. they had that extensive knowledge since Friday at least. ]
So, I wouldn't say it's impossible that if we don't follow certain rules we might have a curse placed on us. [ but hmm... ] We may have a new weekly task next week too..
I'm not sure we'd know, no. But I can't imagine it would be too hard to figure out a curse... maybe? If it's something you can see visibly, that would be obvious enough. If it's something else... watching for tells or changes in the behavior is another good example.
[ which honestly they're treating it more like the gnosia infection than whatever a curse could potentially be but. that's Setsu for you. "use past experiences to try and apply to the present" and, well, it's better than nothing? ]
As long as we get them done, along with the other weekly task... we should be alright.
[ he shrugs, which he thinks is good enough for this instance. ]
I don't know if it'll get us more points or if it's meant to try and punish us for not doing it and subject points. But even if that's true it's sort of like getting points.
[ keeping them. ]
...telling someone a secret's not bad anyway. Doesn't have to be a big one if someone doesn't want it to be.
It could be a kind of punishment. To ensure some teams aren't getting by through the bare minimum...
[ a quiet hum. ]
No... it doesn't have to be. [ ... ] Though, I was thinking of telling Vash about the "Silver Key." Just so someone outside you and Alex know of it, in case personal items come up again. [ aka someone outside their team. ]
[ they both seem to be in agreement that it's likely a way to make sure people are getting past the bare minimum. so he does not do much but nod to show he heard them.
the rest though... ]
If you trust him, then you should. It's...better to have someone besides us vouch for you just in case. People might think we're lying to cover for you or something, but someone else makes it a little easier to believe. And I don't think he'd find it that weird anyway.
[ so he had the same thought as them. there's only been one trial so far-- and they don't know how the upcoming ones will go with each week, but they assume it won't go by for long which they'll overlook some things. ]
That's what I was thinking as well. And I do think Vash is trustworthy. He's... very honest, so. [ it should be fine. mm.. a little wave of exhaustion hits them again. their head starting to nod off a little again, eyes dropping a bit. sneepy. ]
unfortunately, or fortunately? it's comfortable here, and it's relaxing to hear Jonas talk so, they really are just going to fall asleep here. sorry for the trouble jonas. :(

No, not yet. Trying to decide who I want to exchange with, or at least who I could tell something to that wouldn't be a big deal. Have you?

It's worth thinking about, right?

..It's a nice thought. And, if anything... [ a brief pause, before seeming to abandon that thought and go for something else ] Thank you, Jonas.
no subject
Don't thank me for reminding you of what you told me first. It's...something we can hang onto for right now. So why not?
[ he is not good at being optimistic but he can make an attempt for other people. ]
no subject
Hehe, even a reminder deserves some thanks. And.. it's a good thought to have until the end.
[ the fact he tries is enough really. even if the reality of it could challenge that thought when the time comes. ]

[ he says, not at all explaining what he's thinking on that. ]
What I'm hearing then is we have to be even more proactive about this stuff than we were already planning to be.

[ wait what. they eye him curiously, unsure of what he means by that. ]
Basically. It means more work but, if it gets us points.. I can't complain.
